Instead, publishers have to charge us more in order to turn the same profit. ![]() How is it any different from having day-one DLC? The content is finished and very likely could have been included on disc, but it wasn't. To hear folks in this thread complain, it's like you all want Capcom to charge us $20 for a character pack instead of $5-10. Sony charges publishers for bandwidth (and both Sony and MS charge for QA for DLC), so including the majority of that data on disc helps keep costs down for everyone. I really don't see anything "shady" about this. Capcom's fighting game division has been one of the most consumer friendly and responsive studios in the business.
